About Us

The North Carolina History Theater envisions bringing history "a-LIVE" on stage in a variety of formats. Eastern North Carolina has so many stories to tell, and we want to be part of informing through entertaining.

The compelling story of the Spaight-Stanly duel is the subject of Honour, the Musical, scheduled for Spring 2022. You can also expect a good helping of comedy fun.  The Theater is considering popular comedies and powerful dramas about past eras. Some hilarious presentations from recent history are set to make an appearance in January and February with the “Murder Mystery Mobile Troupe" offering to come to your place with Murder in the Manor. Bill Hand’s Mark Twain, Day and Night is on tap for March 2022.
